We contacted the seller, Electronica Direct, and their responce was, "Dear Valued Customer, Our company policy is that we do not pay for return shipping, even on defective products. I apologize that this does cause you inconvenience but that is our policy across the board. Thank you for choosing Electronica Direct! Michelle Customer Support" It cost us $20 to return the item even though we never got to use it!! What a rip. User Review:  - Where too, McGoo?I live in the Chicago area and this has saved my bacon plenty. I grew up here and know the area well after having worked in the news and production business. But this technology is just brilliant. I does dumb you down a bit, as I find myself not plotting anymore, but hey, doesn't all technology contribute? So, what I like? Big bright screen, good maps, intuitive menus, portable, excellent performance... yep. User Review: - Awesome GPSI have this GPS for over six months. Last month I went to Lexington, KY for the first time as soon as I plugged GPS in my rental car it recognized everything and has taken me to my destination with out any problem. The only problem is the female says ten point five miles if it is 0.5 miles but you will get used to after having it for a while. If you don't want remember the intersections and directions this is the best buy. It comes with MP3 player but I have never used the Mp3 option. User Review:  - Too bigBulky and heavy. I bought it because it has a large, very bright screen, which it does, but this doesn't offset the inconvenience of the size and mounting system. Will not accept many streets. Coral Way in Miami is a recognized major thoroughfare which also has a street number and a highway number. The Lowrance will not accept any of these) User Review: - Poor ProductWe returned this GPS since it spent more time searching for our location than it did helping us find our way. It also had a habit of suddenly losing power and we had to start over. |
