Lowrance 112-362 iWay 500C Portable GPS Navigator and MP3 PlayerUser Review: - Lowrance iway 500 CI just returned from a 4,000-mile road trip and had the opportunity to give the Lowrance iway 500 C a good work out. I was pleasantly surprised to find the 500 C functioned flawlessly. Like all GPS units, it occasionally did not select the route that I wanted, however after driving a short distance it reprogrammed to the correct route. Finding POI's is somewhat awkward, but this may be due to operator error. I especially liked the large screen and the interface. Being able to switch between two screens with different scales was a nice feature. The night mode in 3d is remarkable. Great GPS for the money and highly recommend it. User Review: - I've been everywhere man...18 months, and 20+ states, no problems that I would consider a big deal -- maybe a few lockups. But otherwise - the large screen, heavy high quality physicial build, outstanding visibility with a large screen, and features etc. all leave me very happy with my purchase. I could never live without this thing. Feels like it will last many years as the Garmin felt cheap physically.... Can read only MP3 format audio. Has gotten me lost a couple of times. Be sure to look at the directions and see if they make sense. GOOD: Easy to read display, works great on my motorcycle. Voice directions are also good. Will hold a lot of MP3s. Easy to move from one vehicle to another. Vehicle voltage monitor a plus. For the money a good buy.
