Magellan RoadMate 760 Portable GPS NavigatorUser Review: - Frustrated and DisappointedI purchased the GPS unit for my husband as a Christmas gift. After 4 very time-consuming attempts, with telephone technical support, it was clear my unit was not operating properly and would not connect to the satellite system. I will definitely remember my poor experience with the product before making another electronic purchase via amazon.com. User Review:  - THE MAGEALLAN ROADMATE IS AWESOME!!!!!I AM A HOSPICE NURSE WITH A WIDE TERRITORY WHICH CAN INCLUDE SOME UNDESIRABLE AREAS. I HAVE THE CONFIDENCE THAT I WILL GET TO MY DESTINATION WITHOUT HAVING TO GET LOST. THIS SYSTEM IS BETTER THAN THE ONE THAT WAS PREINSTALLED BY THE MANUFACTURER IN MY LEXUS WHICH OFTEN TIMES LEAVES ME STRANDED WITHOUT FURTHER ROUTE GUIDANCE OR LOCKS ME OUT BECAUSE IT DOES NOT RECONIZE THE STREET. THE MAGELLAN IS AWESOME AND I WOULD NEVER PAY THE MONEY AGAIN FOR THE ONE IN THE LEXUS!!!!!!! I GUESS THIS IS WHY HERTZ CALLS IT THE " NEVER LOST". It comes with everything except a carrying case and delivers everything I'll ever need. I bought a small leather video camera bag at Wal-mart for $14 and it holds it all. I can easily take it with me and use it in any vehcile with a 12V plug. or, I can use one of my portable 12V power sources and us it virtually anywhere. You'll get your money's worth with this one. User Review:  - Only when you are not in hurry.I got the Magellan 760 two mouths ago, it works fine and the price is good, sometimes it takes about 5 minutes to work, that means you need to wait. |
