Garmin Forerunner 305 GPS Receiver With Heart Rate Monitor

User Review: 4 out of 5 stars - Weak Band Beware
Well 3 days after Christmas and now its gone. I went mountain biking and somewhere it got knock off my wrist. The band uses a flimsy standard watch bar band to connect the band to the unit. Same as any Casio. It really needs something more substantial. I had it buckled correctly. Just beware if you are do any aggressive sports with this.

Other than that it has a lot of great easy to use features.

User Review: 5 out of 5 stars - runner's watch
Great watch! Pace indicator is a very nice feature! Heart rate monitor works well but the read out is pretty small for old eyes, while running. In our location, (UT), the watch is able to locate satellites while indoors, rather than standing out in the cold, as this process takes a minute or two. Distance indicator is also more useful than anticipated.

User Review: 5 out of 5 stars - Very Please with the Forerunner 305
The Garmin Forerunner 305 has been fun to use. Easy to understand set up and has good accuracy. Would recommend this model to others

User Review: 4 out of 5 stars - difficult to use
Poorly written user manual make this a difficult product to use unless you are very tech savy. Great features, unit is very light and comfortable to wear.

User Review: 5 out of 5 stars - Amazing
Great product. I am a beginner runner and it continues to help me. The first time I used it I was ecstatic. I had a little problem getting the heart rate monitor to pair with the device but after a little time it began to work perfect. Satellite works fabulous, I can even pick up a signal in my house. Amazing, takes a little fiddling around with to get the hang of it but when you do, on your first run, it's super simple. My only complaint is that the heart rate on the screen is kind of hard to read while running without sorta slowing down but you can get all info when you upload it. I suggest using motionbased.com instead of Garmin Training Center (comes with it). Motionbased.com has a free service though only holds limited running entries and if you want more than you will have to pay. Anyways great product!!! Buy it, young or old, beginner or advanced. Just get it!
