This is my first GPS and I found its use to be very intuitive. No full owners manual was included but none was needed. Amazon's under $150 price and free shipping makes this the best deal out there. My only complaint is it doesn't give enough advance notice prior to making a change from one highway to the connecting highway change, especially on I-75 in Atlanta. I purchased this particular model after 2 other co-workers bought it. Best GPS. Honestly. My brother got a different name and it was so confusing to use. This one is user friendly. Simple to operate. Little instruction needed. Excellent turn by turn directions with a clear and easy to read screen. You won't be sorry you bought it. I recently updated it online at Garmin for $69. Again worth it. The roads change and make it necessary to update about once every year or so. Buy it and you will see. A great GPS unit at a fair price. User Review: - Awesome GPS!I bought this model specifically on the recommendation to get text to speech rather than just turn by turn directions. I definitely second that recommendation - this model not only tells you when to turn, but the specific street name or exit number - which is very beneficial. Only drawback I have with this is that the battery only lasts a couple of hours at full charge. Comes with a car cord - but I prefer not to have the wires running all over the dash.... Great unit - I recommend it. |
