- Convert it! - Your starting point for EV'sThis was one of the first Electric vehicle conversion books we bought and it by far the best. While it looks dodgey with its simple binding the information is simple to read and understand, and it is full of handy hints for example ways of telling if a car has been in an accident and then repaired and ways of keeping track of all the old engine bits you pull out - handy for the non mechanic. While it does have technical information it doesn't get bogged down in it. It is one of the best we own. User Review: - Convert it ReviewI found this book very informative, easy to read , the pictures clear. Missing were wiring diagrams of battery connections. The high and low current diagrams were sufficient and easy to understand. The book was a bit slanted commercially only showing the authors products Over all I think the book was excellent and gave me a basic understanding of how to convert a gas car to electric. Robert Shaver User Review: - Convert ItExcellent book! Anyone wanting to convert a gas using vehicle to electric will benefit by reading this book. The warnings are especially helpful if you want to protect yourself from harm's way and avoid serious errors in tearing down and rebuilding your electric vehicle. User Review: - Good Place to StartAlthough some of the information presented in the 126-page volume is 15 or more years old, it is still a good place to start when considering an electric vehicle conversion. Mr. Brown does not disappoint with his clear and direct explanations and suggestions. There is one small technical error concerning wire sizing. The National Electric Code (NEC) and Mil Spec W-5088L may be helpful, here. Definitely worth the cost and time to read this book. User Review: - Very InformativeThis is a great book for the EV enthusiast. I was a little surprised that the pages of the book seem like xerox copies. But the quality of the information is very impressive. Next page of reviews >
