- Very goodThis is a very informative book, and complements "the Ethical Slut" very well. I recomend both of these books for 2 different view points. User Review: - Polyamory: Roadmaps for the Clueless & Hopeful Wow, a really honest book about a very tough lifestyle. A great road map, it was written well, lots of good humor, and true honesty you can't get most places. It has opened my eyes to the true work that is needed to have an interesting and fulfilling lifestyle. If you are thinking about or are actually in this scene, you NEED this book. share and enjoy! Z User Review: - Ramble OnUnfortunately I can't review this book fully because I can never seem to go past a few pages of it (and I don't think the patience of dealing with a poly relationship has anything to do with reading patience). It is a very dense book which I think an editor could have easily chopped down by a quarter or a third. The author is obviously very intelligent and informed on the matter, it's just... This book is like a really amazing album by your favorite band recorded in somebody's basement. There's some good stuff in there, but it suffers in the presentation. User Review: - AstoundingThis is the first book on the polyamorous lifestyle I've read which is blissfully bereft of the self-congratulatory tone of most books on the subject. It brings to the discussion about polyamory a refreshingly honest viewpoint which makes no bones about its being one perspective. Yet it's expansive enough to include the perspectives of many different groups thinking about polyamory, or who were essentially "born into" it through a sort of self-revelation. I've barely read forty pages, and yet I'm hooked. I highly recommend this book. User Review: - Say what?Wow, can this guy rammble. I'm giving this book five stars because it really helped me understand the mind set of poly folks and the winding road of chaos within the lifestyle choice. My best friend from high school has been poly for several years and she highly recommended this book because she found it a saving influence on her primary relationship. For me, the book was educational and also successful at eliminating any possible poly attempt in my personal life. You may find this book helpful if you are considering poly for the first time, wanting to learn more about poly in general or dedicated to poly and having a hard time of it. It's not the kind of book you can summarize, meaning you read it and you're thinking "what did I just read, I can't remember what his point was."....so know from the onset that this book is oddly structured and vague.
